Helen Braybrook (Sr., Frieston, United Kingdom) was the highlight of the week for the ThunderWolves once again as the veteran All-American capped off her historic Indoor Season, being named Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Co-Athlete of the Year.
Braybrook won the 800-meter dash at the RMAC Championships, breaking the conference record. She also led the Pack to an RMAC title in the Distance Medley Relay and 4x400 Relay. She then went on to win the NCAA Division II National Championship in the 800-meters with a time of 2:04.72.Â
She also led the Pack to a National Championship in the DMR, anchoring the championship squad.
Braybrook opened the Outdoor season with the 800-meter run and clocked a time of 2:03.45, breaking the school record previously set by Yasmine Hernandez.
Up next, the Pack are on the road this week and will compete at the Maverick Invitational, hosted by Colorado Mesa starting Thursday in Grand Junction.
