Shjon Andrews (Gr., Longmont, Colo.) helped to lead then-No. 15 CSU Pueblo in two wins on the road versus Oklahoma Christian and Rogers State.
Andrews scored the only goal of the game versus OCU. It is his second game-winning goal of the year and third overall. For the week, Andrews notched four shots and two SOG.
Defensively, Andrews and Co. held the opposition to ten shots and only four SOG in two games.
After the weekend sweep, CSU Pueblo moved up in the national rankings and enter the week at No. 9 in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll.
Up next, the ThunderWolves men's soccer team will battle in two matches against ranked opponents. On Thursday, CSU Pueblo will take on No. 18 Fort Lewis starting at 6 p.m. and will return home Sunday for a clash of the Top 10 teams against No. 5 UCCS, starting at 2:30 p.m. at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.
