Elijah Borjas (Jr., Lakewood, Colo.) had a spectacular week and helped to lead Pack baseball to a 4-1 week including a four-game sweep of Colorado Christian.
In five games, Borjas hit .500 (11-of-22) at the plate and crushed four home runs, collected 12 RBI, three doubles, a triple and 29 total bases.
The Lakwood HS-native put himself in the Pack baseball record books as he hit for the cycle during the third game against CCU. In the contest, Borjas recorded arguably the hardest three to get in a cycle with a triple in the first, followed by a double in the second and a two-run bomb in the third.Â
He completed the feat with a single to center in the fifth inning.
For the weekend, Borjas finished with a 1.222 slugging percentage and an outstanding .571 OBP and defensively, Borjas went errorless in two putouts.
Up next, Pack baseball will host Montana State Billings in a four-game series starting Friday at Noon at Rawlings Field.
