Makiah Morris (Sr., San Diego, Calif.) helped the ThunderWolves to a 2-1 showing last week in three home games. In that span, Morris averaged 19.3 points per game to go with 11.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists per contest.
Friday against No. 23 Mines, Morris scored 18 points on 6-of-13 shooting (46.2 percent) and was 6-for-7 at the free throw line. He hauled in eight defensive rebounds and earned five assists.
He had another strong outing the next night against MSU Denver and poured in 24 points on 10-of-15 shooting including two three-pointers. He totaled 13 rebounds (4 offensive and 9 defensive) and dished out eight assists in nearly 40 minutes of action.
In Tuesday's match-up against NMHU, Morris scored 16 points and was 4-of-9 from the field and was 8-for-9 at the charity stripe. He brought down another 13 rebounds  and recorded three assists, one block and one steal for the Pack.
Next, the men's team heads to Gunnison on Friday for a match-up with Western Colorado starting at 7:30PM inside Paul Wright Gym.
