Liz Lockhart (Sr., Los Alamos, N.M.) will make her first national championship appearance, as she has qualified for the hammer throw. Her school record throw of 57.32m (188' 1") has her ranked 12th. Lockhart earned All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference First Team in the hammer.

She placed runner-up in the hammer throw at the RMAC Championships.
