Ty Lewis (Jr., Pleasant Grove, Utah) batted .500 (8-for-16) to guide the ThunderWolves to a 3-1 series win against Mines. Four of his eight hits went for extra bases, which included two doubles, a triple and a homerun. He posted a .937 slugging percentage and produced two game-winning hits. He totaled 10 RBI and scored three runs.
Lewis collected 15 bases and produced a .500 on base percentage. In the field he had three putouts and three assists.
In the opener, Lewis went 3-for-6, which included driving in what would be the winning run in the top of the eighth inning in an 11-10 victory.
In the third game, he went 3-for-5 and with the Pack trailing 6-5 he produced a two RBI double in the top of the seventh inning to put the ThunderWolves ahead 7-6, which would prove to be the final.
Pack baseball will compete in a pod series versus Colorado Christian and MSU Denver at the Roadrunners Regency Athletic Complex.
