Laikyn Koss (Sr., Riverside, Calif.) has caught fire over the last two weeks of the season for the women's soccer team. Koss has posted 11 points, scoring five goals with an assist over the last four games.
As a result, the women are riding a four-game win streak and they picked up three wins on the road during that span.
Last week at Black Hills State, Koss scored the first goal in the Pack's 3-2 win over the Yellow Jackets. Her goal came in the 10' on a through ball to the top of the box and Koss placed the ball low and past the goalkeeper.
Sunday at Regis, Koss and Co. won 2-1 behind the game-winner from Koss in the 83' of the game. Koss took one of her infamous left footed shots from just inside the 18-yard box and fired into the top third of the goal to secure the win.
On the year, Koss leads the RMAC in shots per game (4.60) and is in the top ten in points (14), goals (6) and is third in the league with her three game-winning goals.
She leads the team in shots (49) and shots on goal (18).
