Thomas Vassallo (Sr., Sarasota, Fla.) netted six goals to lead the Pack to a 17-16 win over Davenport University in teh Pack's home opener Sunday. This was Vassallo's first sock trick of his career and sixth sock trick in CSU-Pueblo history.
Vassallo matched a program record with his six-goal game.
He leads the RMAC with 3.0 goals per game and sits 26th in Division II. He ranks fourth in the RMAC with 3.75 points per game.
The men's lacrosse team stays home and will face Adams State University, Saturday at 1 p.m. at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium to open RMAC play. The Pack will start a four-game nonconference road trip with stops at Quincy (Mar. 19), Lewis (Mar. 21), Maryville (Mar. 23), and Lindenwood (Mar. 25).
