2010: Was a RMAC all-academic honor roll selection ... Appeared in 17 matches for the Thunderwolves in 2010 ... Finished the season with 21 digs ... Had a season-high seven digs vs. Western State on Sep. 11.

2009: Saw action in three games this year ... Recorded six digs and one assist ... Best game came against Johnson & Wales Oct. 22, where Tapia earned 5 digs and one assist in a 3-0 win.

2008: Redshirted the 2008 season.

High School: Was a first-team all-conference selection at South High School in Pueblo, Colo. ... Helped the Colts to a second place finish in the South Central League in 2007, eventually advancing to the state regional tournament ... Represented South HS as the Female Athlete of the Year in 2008 ... A stellar student, she graduated 18th in her class with a 3.87 GPA ... Is a recepient of the prestigious Kane Scholarship ...
