Elena Michalski moves to the Pack's coaching staff after a great career as an athlete at CSU-Pueblo. Michalski became just the seventh student-athlete in school history to reach 1,500 assists with 1,641 career assists. Her 6.35 assists per game ranks seventh all-time in CSU-Pueblo.
Michalski became the Pack's primary setter in her junior season. She dished out 586 assists and put down 24 service aces, averaging 5.48 assits and 0.22 aces per set.
As a senior, Michalski set career highs in virtually every statistical category. She averaged 8.93 assists per game, ninth-most in the RMAC. Her 822 assists and 256 digs were career-highs. Michalski's 2.78 digs/set set a new career high. Elena had 18 kills, more than her career total entering the season. Her 11 blocks more than tripled her career total. Michalski also hit a career-high .020.
A standout in the classroom, Michalski achieved a 3.65 GPA. Michalski earned a spot on the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll in each of her last two seasons. She achieved a 3.66 GPA while majoring in busniess management.
In high school, Michalski earned all-conference and all-state honors during her volleyball career at Longmont HS. She was also garnered all-conference honors in soccer.
