Abby Skrastins steps into her first season as the graduate assistant coach for volleyball at CSU Pueblo in 2021.

Skrastins comes from the University of Central Missouri where she played as a defensive specialist/libero for four seasons. Skrastins appeared in 119 career matches with the perennial top-10 program.

In four years at Central Missouri, Skrastins totaled 1,318 digs and dished out 229 assists. In her senior season, she logged 123 assists to place her second on the team in the category.
 
As a freshman, Skrastins appeared in all 33 matches as a defensive specialist at Central Missouri. Her junior and senior campaigns featured her in the libero spot as she led the team in digs per set while helping Central Missouri to back-to-back NCAA Regional appearances.
 
In her senior season, Skrastins tallied 648 digs and 5.14 digs per set as a team captain. She was named to the All-MIAA team in 2019 after leading the Jennies to a second-place conference finish behind the future National Runner-Up Nebraska-Kearney.
 
Skrastins graduated from Central Missouri with a degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Fitness and Wellness in May 2021. She was named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll in each of her four years at Central Missouri.

Skrastins will be pursuing a Master’s in Sport Management during her time at CSU Pueblo.
