Jaylyn Duran

Jaylyn Duran joined the ThunderWolves as a bright new Assistant Coach for Head Coach Tommie Johnson in 2022.

"Jaylyn is one of the best young minds in the game. Her many years of playing collegiate and professional basketball will be crucial to our program," Johnson said.

Duran is no stranger to the Rocky Mountian Athletic Conference, as she joins the Pack after a historic four-year career at Colorado Mesa University.

In her four years with the Mavericks, she increased her scoring numbers every season. In her junior season in 2017-18, she averaged 14.9 points per game and was an RMAC All-Conference Second Team member. During her senior season in 2018-19, she led the RMAC in scoring at 18.6 points per game, and was the RMAC Player of the Year.

She has been named the NCAA Division II National Player of the Week, a South Central Player of the Year, and was an All-American, all while being the Captain.

In addition to her historic collegiate career, Duran is also the single season three-point record holder, single game three-point record holder, and career three-point record holder at CMU.

After her collegiate career concluded, Duran took her talents to the professional level, as she played overseas in the Irish Super League for The Address UCC Glanmire Basketball Club in Cork, Ireland.
