Arrieta begins her coaching career with the Pack in 2016-17, following one of the most decorated careers in school history. Dee stands as the winningest player in CSU-Pueblo's history with 84 victories in her Pack career. During her four-year career at CSU-Pueblo, Arrieta posted a .700 winning percentage.
As a junior, Arrieta earned First Team All-RMAC honors. In her senior season, Arrieta switched to the point guard position to help the Pack. This move would pay off for both Arrieta and the ThunderWolves as the team set a school-record with 26 victories. The Pack also set school record by earning a NO.2 seed at the NCAA regional.
With Arrieta at the point, the Pack won its conference record fifth RMAC Tournament Championship. Arrieta earned RMAc Tournament MVP honors as the team celebrated on its home court.
In her senior season, Arrieta received Second Team All-RMAC accolades. She played the third most minutes in the RMAC in her final campaign, logging 33.7 minutes of court time per game. Arrieta also recorded the fourth highest 3-point percentage among qualified shooters in school history (.362). Because of her efforts, Arrieta earned the Wolfie Award for Best Female Athlete at CSU-Pueblo.
Arrieta ranks third in school history of 156 3-pointers. In her junior season, Arrieta sank the second most 3-pointers in a single-season by making 72 shots from downtown. Twice during her career, Arrieta received a spot on the RMAc All-Academic Honor Roll.
