Holds the school record for recieving yards in a game (190 yards) and touchdowns in a game (three) ... Played for the All-Oregon team ... Finished sixth of 800 in Nike Oregon training camp ... Ran track, specializing in sprints, where his best 100-meter time was 11.32 ... Also played basketball ... Received football scholarship offers from Division I schools, including Arizona and Northern Colorado ... Coached by Mike Schmidt.
