2024 (So.): Played in all 12 games and made six starts at defensive tackle for the Pack ... Recorded 38 total tackles, including 12 solo stops and added 5.5 tackles for a loss of 19 yards ... Also tallied a sack for a loss of 10 yards ... Had three or more tackles in a game eight times, including a career-high seven tackles against Black Hills State (10/19) ... One of 11 players on the team with 30 or more tackles ... At Western Colorado (11/2), he recorded four tackles, 2.5 tackles for a loss, a sack and a quarterback hurry ... Posted five tackles and a tackle for a loss in the home opener against UT-Permian Basin (9/7) ... Started at defensive tackle in hte Pack's home NCAA Playoff game against Minnesota State ... Earned Honorable Mention All-RMAC honors. 

2023 (Fr.): Played in all 11 games on the defensive line as a true freshman ... Recorded seven total tackles, including two solo stops ... Had three games with two or more tackles, including a season-high three tackles in his collegiate debut against Midwestern State (9/2).

Giddings HS: Named a three-time All-Conference selection in football playing defensive tackle for Michael Adams … Over his final two seasons at Giddings, he recorded 176 solo tackles, 96 assisted tackles, forced 80 fumbles, had 12 quarterback sacks, recovered 14.5 fumbles and had 39 tackles for a loss … Helped the Buffaloes to three Texas State Football Playoff appearances in four seasons  and was a part of two Class 4A D2 District 13 Championships … Also lettered in track and field and power lifting … Was a four-team Power lifting State qualifier … In the classroom, carried a 3.7 cumulative GPA.
 
Personal: Born Nov. 6 ... Son of Shanon Taylor and Justin Sampleton … Has a brother, Javon (11) … Exercise Science major … Likes gaming, lifting weights, throwing the shot put and fishing … Wants to be a head football coach after graduation.
