Cherokee Trail High School: Named all-league first-team his senior season in the Centennial Conference … Was part of the team that won the 2012 league championship and was runner-up in the state’s 5A championship … as a junior Thompson hauled in 35 catches for 805 yards and seven touchdowns … single-game career highs include 185 receiving yards and three touchdowns for the Cougars … coached by Monte Thelan.
