Randy Begano enters his second season in 2020 and will again assist with the defensive line. 

Over the last 12 years, CSU Pueblo has produced some of the best defensive linemen in Division II and that trend continued in 2019 with RMAC Defensive Player of the Year and All-American Jackson Wibbels leading the way. He finished the regular season ranked top 20 nationally in both sacks and tackles for loss, as the ThunderWolves closed the regular season first nationally in team sacks and 19th in tackles for loss. The Pack defense finished the regular season first in NCAA Division II in interceptions (26), sacks (3.82 spg) and defensive touchdowns (9), second in turnovers gained (32), fourth in rushing defense (60.9 ypg), fifth in scoring defense (14.5 ppg) and eighth in team passing efficiency defense (96.93). The Pack were 18th in the nation in total defense (287 ypg). Also from the line, Trey Botts and Brady Opp were name All-RMAC Honorable Mention.
