Nic Braaten joins the ThunderWolves coaching staff in 2020 after completing his playing career at Nebraska Wesleyan. He will serve as a Graduate Assistant Coach and help with the defensive line and linebackers. Braaten will also serve as the Film Coordinator. 

Braaten played defensive line for the Prairie Wolves. As a senior in 2019 he played in all 10 games and totaled 34 tackles (11 solo). He added three fumble recoveries, 2.5 tackles for loss and a sack. 

He earned his bachelors degree in Sport Management.
