Neema Behbahani is entering his fourth season as a member of the ThunderWolves football coaching staff and will serve as the program's defensive coordinator in 2026. Along with being the defensive coordinator, Behbahani will also continue to coach the Pack linebackers. 
In his first three seasons at CSU Pueblo, Behbahani served as the cornerbacks coach before transitioning to linebackers while also taking on recruiting coordinator responsibilities.
In his first season with the Pack, coaching the cornerbacks, he helped Eli Pittman and Keith Mckaney, Jr. earn All-RMAC honors. During his second season coaching the linebackers, he helped Gary Seidenberger and Jon Nuschy earn All-RMAC recognition. In 2025, Behbahani also coached Gary Seidenberger and Bryson Torrie to All-RMAC honors.
Before getting into coaching, Behbahani was a four-year letterman from 2016-19 at linebacker for the East Texas A&M football program. He was the team captain as a senior in 2019 and was a member of Commerce’s 2017 NCAA Division II National Championship football team and played on four NCAA playoff teams. As a player, he earned All-LSC honors as a linebacker in 2017.
Behbahani, who is a native of Plano, Texas, earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Learning and Technology from East Texas A&M in 2019 and received his master’s degree in Health, Kinesiology, and Sport Studies (Athletic Administration) from East Texas A&M in 2022.
He married his wife, Jocelyn, in January 2024 in their hometown of the DFW Metroplex. They are the proud parents of their daughter, Everley, and are excited to welcome their son later this year
