Chance Fuller

Chance Fuller enters his second season on the ThunderWolves' football coaching staff, working with the quarterbacks. 

In Fuller's first season working with the quarterbacks, the Pack finished ranked in the Top 10 in NCAA Division II in passing yards (3,702), passing touchdowns (36), passing yards per game (308.5) and completion percentage (65.6 percent). Additionally, Roman Fuller was the NCAA Division II leader in completion percentage at 70.3 percent, which was a single-season school record. 

Before joining the coaching staff in 2024, Fuller played quarterback for the Pack during the 2023 season. In his lone season playing for the Pack, Fuller earned Coach Fuller FamilyHonorable Mention All-RMAC honors and was a semifinalist for the NFF William Campbell Trophy and was a nominee for the Harlon Hill Trophy from Super Region 4. 

During the 2023 season, Fuller was 282-for-384 passing for 2,910 yards and set a new single-season school record with 34 touchdown passes and seven interceptions. He ranked in the Top 10 in Division II in passing touchdowns (34), passing yards (2,910) and completions per game (22.0). He finished his career with 101 touchdown passes, 11,055 passing yards and 10,876 total offensive yards. He was one of four active D-II quarterbacks with 10,000 career passing yards, 10,000 career total offensive yards and 100 career touchdown passes during the 2023 season.

In the classroom, Fuller was a CSC Academic All-District selection and was two-time CoSIDA Academic All-District selection while playing at Fort Hays State and was also a two-time All-MIAA performer at Fort Hays State.

Before transferring to CSU Pueblo, Fuller played five seasons (2017-22), including starting two of those three seasons at quarterback at Fort Hays State in Hays, Kan. In his time at Fort Hays State, Fuller was a two-time Second-Team All-MIAA selection at quarterback as he earned the honors as both a sophomore in 2019 and as a junior in 2021 and earned Don Hansen Football Gazette Third-Team All-Super Region 3 honors at quarterback in 2019.

Fuller holds Fort Hays’ single-season record for touchdown passes with 35 in 2019 and completed his Fort Hays State career as the school’s all-time leader in passing yards (8,095) and passing touchdowns (67) and is second in school history in passing attempts (1,021), pass completions (637) and total offense (8,008 yards). He also holds Fort Hays State’s single-game marks for passing yards (474 at Missouri Western in 2021) and pass completions (40 at Missouri Western in 2021).

He threw for over 300 or more yards in a game 11 times, including two games of 400 or more passing yards, and was a member of back-to-back MIAA Championship teams with the Tigers in 2017 and 2018.

In the classroom, was a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-District selection (2020-21, 2021) and a two-time MIAA Scholar-Athlete Award winner (2019, 2021). Additionally, was a six-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Before playing at Fort Hays State, Fuller was a First-Team All-District selection as a quarterback during his senior year at Lamar High School. He was named the Team’s MVP as a senior and threw for over 2,000 yards and had 26 total touchdowns as a senior in 2016. He also lettered in baseball for the Vikings and in the classroom, received Academic All-District and Academic All-State accolades.

He earned his Bachelor's degree in Teaching/Coaching from Fort Hays State University in 2020 and his Masters in Sports Administration from Fort Hays State University in 2022.
