Brayle Brown

Brayle Brown will be in his third season with the Pack in 2024 serving as the offensive coordinator after arriving from Colorado Mesa University in the winter of 2022.

In Brown's second season directing the Pack offense and working with the quarterbacks in 2023, CSU Pueblo finished seventh in Division II in passing Brayle Brown Familyoffense as they averaged 289.7 passing yards per game and was ninth in Division II in scoring offense as they averaged 42.0 points per game. Individually, graduate student quarterback Chance Fuller ranked in the Top 10 in Division II in completions per game (22.0), passing touchdowns (34) and passing yards per game (264.5). 

During Brown's first season in 2022, CSU Pueblo finished seventh in Division II in passing efficiency (159.68) and red zone offense (91.3 percent), while also finishing 14th nationally in Division II in scoring offense (36 points per game) and 17th in passing offense (268.8). Individually, senior quarterback Hunter Raquet was second nationally in Division II in passing efficiency (174.6), third in passing yards per completion (16.54) and 14th in passing touchdowns (27). 

"Coach Brown has always impressed me from afar. He's been a successful offensive coordinator at two different schools and under his tutelage the ThunderWolves thrived in the passing game last season," CSU Pueblo first year head coach Philip Vigil said about Brown. "I'm excited to get to work with Coach Brown and help develop high powered offenses for years to come."
 
Prior to his arrival in Pueblo, Brown spent the 2021 season as the offensive coordinator at Colorado Mesa. In that one season at Mesa, Brown's offense led the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in total offense as they averaged 453.7 yards per game, 6.6 yards per play, 194.8 rushing yards per game threw only four interceptions in 314 attempts.
 
Before coaching at Mesa, Brown spent two seasons the quarterbacks coach, passing game coordinator and associate offensive coordinator at Oklahoma Baptist University. His offenses at OBU were tops in the Great American Conference in both 2019 and 2020.
 
He began his collegiate coaching career as a graduate assistant running backs coach at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas, in 2018 and served one season as a graduate assistant at Avila University, an NAIA school in Kansas City, Mo.
 
Brown, who is a Shawnee, Okla., native, played college football at the University of Louisiana Monroe. He played in 24 games at ULM, including making two starts during his sophomore and junior campaigns.
 
During his prep career at Shawnee High School, Brown earned All-District and All-State honors as a junior as he led Shawnee High School to a conference championship and an undefeated regular season. He finished his SHS career with over 4,000 passing yards, 1,000 yards rushing and 1,000 yards receiving and holds the school's single-season school records for total yards, total touchdowns, passing touchdowns, passing yards and completion percentage, as well as, career records in total points, total touchdowns and passing yards.
 
Along with playing football at SHS, Brown also lettered in basketball and baseball and was an All-Conference selection in baseball for the Wolves.
