Ben WooChing has joined the Colorado State University Pueblo football staff as Defensive Line Coach and Special Teams Coordinator for the 2026 season.
WooChing brings experience from the NCAA Division I level after serving as a Defensive Graduate Assistant at Liberty University, where he worked with the Flames’ defensive ends and outside linebackers. In that role, he assisted with practice organization, opponent scouting, game planning, recruiting, and individual player development.
Prior to Liberty, WooChing spent two seasons (2022-23) as a Defensive Analyst at Florida International University, focusing on defensive line play. His responsibilities included film breakdown, scouting report preparation, coordinating scout team operations, assisting with weekly installs, and supporting recruiting efforts.
WooChing also owns a successful background at the high school level in Colorado. As Offensive Coordinator at Erie High School from 2020-21, he directed one of the most productive offenses in state history, totaling 6,082 yards in a 14-game season while averaging 43.3 points per game and helping lead the program to a state championship appearance in 2020.
Earlier in his coaching career, WooChing served as Defensive Coordinator at Erie High School and coached wide receivers, defensive line, and linebackers at Silver Creek High School from 2015-19.
A Colorado native, WooChing earned his bachelor’s degree in business marketing from Regis University, where he carried a 3.59 GPA.
