As a redshirt freshman in 2024, he completed 55 percent of his passes as he was 86-for-155 passing for 943 yards and had five touchdown passes and six interceptions for the Grizzlies ... Also gained 111 rushing yards on 41 carries and scored two touchdowns ... Had four games in 2024 with 100 or more passing yards, including passing for 320 yards in his collegiate debut against Western New Mexico (9/12) ... In that same game, he rushed for 80 yards on seven carries and finished with 400 yards of total offense ... Also caught pass for nine yards against Mines (10/19) ... Averaged 134.7 passing yards per game in 2024 ... Redshirted as a freshman in 2023.
