Joshua Gardiner comes to Colorado State University Pueblo after serving as the Athletic Trainer Intern at Metropolitan State University Denver from 2015-2019. While at MSU Denver, Gardiner learned the ins and outs of the athletic training field and took on the role of maintaining records, designing fitness and conditioning programs and collaborating with others to evaluate athletes and outline treatments.
Nick Nunley spoke on Gardiner, saying, “Josh is an incredibly hard worker. In his short time here, Josh has been an undeniable asset and I am extremely excited to continue to have him in our Sports Medicine Department.”
Prior to his time at MSU Denver, Gardiner served as a United States Marine Corps Corporal from 2008-2012. Through his time in the Marines, Gardiner became certified as a “Combat Life Saver.”
Gardiner began with CSU Pueblo in the latter half of January 2022.
