Caleb Cox

Caleb Cox joined the Pack in Fall of 2020 as Graduate Assistant Coach for the Baseball Program. He will assist Head Coach Damian Stambersky in his first season at CSU Pueblo.

Cox comes to the Pack from Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kan., a suburb of Wichita. In his one season with the Grizzlies, Cox coached the Catchers. He placed two catchers with D-I schools in his lone season working with the Grizzlies.

Cox helped the Grizzlies to a 15-4 record in 2020. The Grizzlies even scored 30 runs in a seven-inning game.

Additionally, Cox served as the Head Coach for the Colorado 14ers, a summer collegiate baseball team. He also coached for the Thunder Baseball Academy in 2018.

Cox began his college career at Butler Community College. As a catcher for the Grizzlies, Cox hit .335 with 10 home runs and 42 RBIs. He slugged .600 in 49 games for the Grizzlies as a sophomore. He also served as team-captain for both of his seasons at Butler CC.

After a successful career with the Grizzlies, Cox continued his baseball and education career at the D-I level with the University of Arkansas Little Rock. Cox transferred to Pittsburg State University to finish his career with the Gorillas.

Cox hit .283 in one season with Pittsburg State, the team's fourth-highest average.  He also managed the Gorillas pitching staff to an impressive 3.90 team ERA.

Cox hails from Broomfield, Colo. He played his high school ball at Broomfield High School.
