#DevelopingChampions

Yes, I have been recruited by CSU-Pueblo

If a representative of one of CSU-Pueblo's athletic programs has made contact with you, you are likely being considered to join next year's squad in your sport of choice.  You are very close to becoming a ThunderWolf!

The next stage is up to you and the coach.

You may make a "verbal committment," in which you verbally commit to attending CSU-Pueblo and playing in an athletic program.  A "verbal committment" is not binding for either yourself or an institution, but it is poor practice to verbally commit to an institution only to back out later.  If you make a "verbal committment" to CSU-Pueblo, the coach is under no obligation to offer you a scholarship of open a spot on the roster for you.  But if a coach does verbally offer you a scholarship or an offer to walk on, it is also poor practice to back out on the offer.

Your status as a student-athlete is not binding until an offer in the form of a "National Letter of Intent" is signed.  The NLI shows a scholarship offer (if any) and is endorsed by the coach and the CSU-Pueblo Director of Athletics.  The NLI form (which was likely faxed or sent to your high school), must be signed by you and a guardian, and sent/faxed back to CSU-Pueblo.

If an "offer" has not been made, you are encouraged to contact the coach once again to update him/her on your accomplishments and gauge the interest of the coach in adding you to their program.  Much like finding a job, choosing where to play collegiate athletics is a long process, and voicing your dedication to joining CSU-Pueblo by calling the coach is advantageous to you.

I would like to make contact with the coach
