Previous College: Attended San Diego Mesa College for two years...Averaged .315 batting and went 3-1 on the mound his Freshman season...Started his Sophomore season in the pen, but quickly moved into a starting role gaining six starts to finish the season...Finished conference play with a record of 2-2 and an ERA of 5.12.

High School: Attended Ayala High School in Chino Hills, Calif. ... Member of the All-Sierra League Team ... Was coached by Kevin Bowler.

Personal: Son of Bruce and Pam Ginter ... Has four siblings: Hillary, Kimmy, Jeff and Jimmy ... Father, Bruce played baseball at Fullerton Junior College. Plans to major in mass communications.
