COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado State University Pueblo sophomore quarterback Navi Bruzon (Peoria, Ariz./Highland CC) earned another Player of the Week honor Tuesday morning as he was named this week's National Football Foundation Colorado Chapter Player of the Week.

On Monday afternoon, the ThunderWolves signal caller was named this week's Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

Since the award's inception in 2003, Bruzon is the 39th Pack player to earn an NFF Colorado Chapter Player of the Week honor. The 39 honorees are second-most in the state of Colorado, behind Colorado's 51 all-time selections. Bruzon is the 30th Pack offensive player to be recognized as the first since Roman Fuller last season last on Nov. 18, 2025.

Bruzon earns this week's NFF Colorado Chapter Player of the Week accolade after his standout performance in the Pack's 45-17 home win over Mines last Saturday to open RMAC play. In the win over the Orediggers, Bruzon completed 22-of-27 passes (81.5 completion percentage) for a career-high 421 yards and four touchdown passes and added nine yards rushing for a season-high 430 yards of total offense. He connected on touchdown passes of 75, 66, 24 and 38 yards in the win over Mines as the Pack finished Saturday's game with a season-high 588 yards of total offense.

The 421 passing yards are the fourth-most in school history and the most since Roman Fuller threw for 442 yards last season at home against Chadron State and the third-most so far this season in a game by a Division II quarterback. His first pass of the game was a 75-yard touchdown pass to junior receiver Marcellus Honeycutt, Jr., (Aurora, Colo./Eastern Washington) to give the Pack a 7-3 lead with 8:17 left in the opening quarter. His second pass completion was a 66-yard touchdown pass to senior receiver Nate Gravagno (Englewood, Colo./Englewood) to give the Pack a 14-3 lead with 38 seconds left in the first quarter. Bruzon started Saturday's game 1-for-4, before completing 21 of his final 23 passes in the game.

With Bruzon leading the Pack offense, the ThunderWolves finished Saturday's game with a season-high 430 passing yards and rushed for 158 yards as the Pack ran a season-high 76 plays, collected a season-high 30 first downs and averaged 7.7 yards per play, including Bruzon averaging 19.1 yards per pass completion. In addition, the Pack offense converted 9-of-12 third downs, controlled the ball for a season-high 35:33 against a stout Orediggers' defense.

Through three games this season, Bruzon is 61-for-87 passing for 1,022 yards, has thrown 11 touchdown passes and two interceptions, has accounted for 1,081 yards of total offense, and has had a hand in 12 of the Pack's 17 touchdowns.  He currently leads the RMAC in completion percentage (70.1 percent), passing efficiency (205.9), passing touchdowns (11), passing yards (1,022), and passing yards per game (340.7), passing yards per completion (16.75), points responsible for (72 points), points responsible for per game (24.0), and total offense (360.3) and is tied for the Division II lead in touchdown passes and is second in passing efficiency, passing yards and points responsible for.

Bruzon and the fifth-ranked ThunderWolves will look to stay undefeated on the season this coming Saturday, Sept. 19 as the ThunderWolves travel to Chadron, Nebraska, for a 1 p.m. RMAC contest against Chadron State (1-2 overall, 0-1 RMAC). The Pack enters the game having won 12 straight regular season games dating to last season's 36-35 home setback to Fort Hays State and 26 consecutive conference games dating to the 2023 season, which is the longest active conference win streak in Division II football.
