Constable Claims RMAC Golfer Of The Week, Leads ThunderWolves to Pair of Top-Two Finishes in Arizona

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced that Colorado State University Pueblo women's golf senior captain Freya Constable has been named RMAC Golfer of the Week, following a championship performance that led the ThunderWolves to a tournament victory and a runner-up finish across two events in Arizona.

Constable opened the week at the Women's Palm Valley Classic at Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Arizona, where she played a key role in CSU Pueblo's dominant team victory. The ThunderWolves claimed the title in a stacked 27-team field after posting rounds of 291 and 288 to finish at three-over par. Constable carded rounds of 76 and an impressive 71 in the final round, helping the Pack secure the win with a strong closing push.

She carried that momentum into the West Texas Desert Invite at Ventana Canyon Golf Club in Tucson, Arizona, where she delivered one of the top individual performances of the tournament. Constable fired back-to-back rounds of 73 to finish at two-over par, to finish in third place overall, and be the highest RMAC golfer in the field.

Behind her steady play, the ThunderWolves climbed the leaderboard on the final day to finish in a tie for second place in another loaded West Region field. Constable was also the top RMAC finisher in the tournament, continuing to anchor the lineup with consistency and poise.

The honor marks CSU Pueblo's third RMAC Golfer of the Week award this season and the first of Constable's career, further highlighting the depth and success of the ThunderWolves program this year.

The two tournaments also marked the conclusion of the regular season for the ThunderWolves, who now turn their focus to the RMAC Championships, set for April 19-21.

Across the two events, Constable showcased her leadership and experience, finishing atop the leaderboard while guiding CSU Pueblo to two top-two team finishes against some of the strongest competition in the region.
