PUEBLO, Colo. – After taking care of business on the road last week, the Colorado State University Pueblo men's basketball team returns to Massari Arena this week looking to continue its late-season surge with a pair of Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference matchups against Fort Lewis on Thursday night and Adams State on Saturday afternoon to close out the 2025-26 regular season.
The Pack, who is 11-2 at home this season and has won seven straight home games in Massari Arena, opens the final week of the regular season with a 7:30 p.m. game on Thursday, Feb. 26, against Fort Lewis College, before hosting Adams State for a 3 p.m. Senior Day game on Saturday, Feb. 28.
Before Saturday's regular-season finale against Adams State, the Pack will honor its four-member senior class in a pregame ceremony. The Pack's four seniors this season are guard

The ThunderWolves enter the final week of the regular season with a 19-7 overall record, in fourth place in the RMAC at 13-5, and have already secured a spot in next week's RMAC Tournament. With one win this week, they can secure a first-round home game on Tuesday, March 3. The Pack has won six straight games, including picking up road wins last week at MSU Denver (67-58) and at Colorado School of Mines (70-63), and is now just one victory shy of recording its first 20-win season since the 2014-15 campaign.
Under first-year head coach
Zach Ruebesam, the Pack has caught fire down the stretch, winning 12 of its last 15 games and posting a 12-3 record since the start of the 2026 calendar year, with the only losses coming at New Mexico Highlands (82-76), at Colorado Mesa (70-66) and at Westminster (79-71).
CSU PUEBLO NOTES
- The ThunderWolves have won five straight games and 12 of their last 15 contests entering the week.
- The Pack has an 11-2 record at home this season and has won seven straight home contests, which is the second-longest active home court win streak in the RMAC and the 27th longest active streak in Division II.
- The 19 wins this season are the most for the Pack in a season since winning 19 games and posting a 19-9 overall record during the 2016-17 season.
- CSU Pueblo is averaging 72.6 points per game while allowing just 64.2 points per contest, which leads the RMAC and ranks 14th nationally in NCAA Division II scoring defense.
- The Pack holds opponents to just 40.7 percent shooting from the field and 31.4 percent from three-point range this season—both marks leading the RMAC and rank in the Top 60 nationally in Division II.
- Three players are averaging in double figures this season, led by sophomore guard/forward Jordan Blair (Keller, Texas/Keller Central), who is averaging 13.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per game, while redshirt junior guard Jaden Kennis (Windsor, Colo./MSU Denver) is averaging 11.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game and junior guard Dylan Sanders (Aurora, Colo./Pearl River CC) is averaging 10.6 points per game. Those three players have combined to score nearly 49 percent of CSU Pueblo's points this year.
ABOUT FORT LEWIS
Fort Lewis comes into the final week of the regular season having won two straight games and is sporting a 16-9 overall record and is tied with Colorado Mesa for second in the RMAC standings with a 14-4 record.
The two-game win streak came at home last week against Chadron State (80-65) and South Dakota Mines (87-67), and that snapped a four-game losing skid for the Skyhawks. Before the four-game losing streak that began in February, the Skyhawks had won nine straight games, including an impressive 78-76 win at Black Hills State.
Fort Lewis has struggled away from home this season, as they are 6-7 on the road, including a 4-4 road record in RMAC play, and have lost four straight four games in league play entering this week.
The Skyhawks, who was tabbed to finish fifth in the Preseason RMAC Coaches' Poll as they earned 143 points, have three players averaging in double figures with redshirt sophomore guard Stewart Erhart leading the way as he is averaging 16.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists and an RMAC-best 3.3 steals per game and is shooting 43 percent from the field, 39 percent from the 3-point line and 85 percent at the free throw line. Erhart has tallied double figures in 20 games, including seven games with 20 or more points.
In addition to Erhart, redshirt sophomore guard Jaxon Smith is averaging 15.3 points per game and is shooting 39 percent from the field, 39 percent from the 3-point line and an RMAC-best 93.1 percent from the free throw line and is making 2.9 treys per game, which is third-best in the league, while fifth-year senior forward Choul Deng is averaging 13.7 points and 7.8 rebounds per game and is shooting 40 percent from the field, 31 percent from the 3-point line and 70 percent at the free throw line and has reached double figures in 20 games, including five double-doubles.
As a team, Fort Lewis is averaging 82.9 points per game and is allowing 80.3 points per game and are shooting 44 percent from the field, 33 percent from the 3-point line and 71 percent at the free throw line.
Fort Lewis leads the league in free throws attempts per game (27.1), free throws made per game (19.2), and offensive rebounds per game (13.8), and is second in rebounding as they average 39.0 boards per contest.
On defense, the Skyhawks lead the RMAC and are in the Top 10 in Division II in both steals per game (12.1) and turnovers forced per game (18.4), and their foes are shooting 42.5 percent from the field and 34 percent from downtown.
Fort Lewis is coached by second-year head coach Jordan Mast. Mast, who came to FLC after spending the past five seasons as the coach at Antelope Valley, where he led the NAIA program to a 99-26 record, has compiled a 35-21 record at Fort Lewis.
Thursday's game with Fort Lewis will mark the 109th all-time meeting and the first and only meeting on the hardwood between the two schools, as the Skyhawks hold a slight 55-53 all-time edge in the series. FLC has won eight of the last 10 meetings in the series, but the Pack won the most recent meeting last season in Durango, Colo., as they earned a 102-98 victory over the Skyhawks.
ABOUT ADAMS STATE
Adams State, which plays at UCCS on Thursday before traveling to Pueblo to face the Pack, comes into this week's action having won seven of its last nine games, with the two losses being a 106-87 setback at Westminster and a 79-69 loss last Thursday at home to Black Hills State.
The Grizzlies are sporting a 17-9 overall record and are fifth in the league standings with an 11-7 record. The 17 wins are the most since winning 18 games during the 2017-18 season.
ASU, which went 12-2 at home this season, has struggled on the road this season as it is 5-7 away from home, including being 3-5 on the road in RMAC play.
Adams State has four players averaging in double figures, with senior forward Wyatt Helming leading the way as he is averaging 15.3 points, 7.4 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game and is shooting 54 percent from the field, 43 percent from the 3-point line and 82 percent at the free throw line and he has had 21 double-digit scoring efforts and seven double-doubles on the year.
In addition to Helming, senior guard Luke Williams is averaging 14.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.9 steals per game and is shooting 45 percent from the field and 75 percent at the free-throw line. He has had 17 double-digit scoring games, including seven games with 20 or more points.
The other two double-digit scorers are senior guard Dillan Baker, who is averaging 11.7 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game and is shooting 43 percent from the field and 82 percent from the free throw line, while senior guard Jarmell Johnson is averaging 11.5 points per game and is shooting 43.1 percent from the field.
As a team, ASU is second in the league in scoring as they are averaging 86.8 points per game and are second in the RMAC in 3-pointers made per game (9.3) and average an RMAC-best 19.5 fast break points per game.
The Grizzlies are shooting 47 percent from the field, 33.8 percent from long distance and 70 percent at the free throw line. ASU is also fourth in the league in free throws made per game (16.2) and free throws shot per game (23.1).
Defensively, ASU is allowing 84.8 points per game, but is second in the league in blocked shots (4.4) and is third in the league in steals per game (9.2). ASU's foes are shooting 44 percent from the field and 36 percent from the 3-point line.
ASU is coached by Kenny Tripp, who is in his third season with the Grizzlies and has compiled a 37-45 overall record in Alamosa.
Saturday's game will be the 101st all-time meeting in the series and the second this season between the two teams as the Pack collected a 73-65 win at Adams State on Jan. 22. The Pack leads the all-time series, 70-30, and is 6-4 in the last 10 games in the series.
Following this week's home games with Fort Lewis and Adams State, the Pack will begin play in the 2026 RMAC Tournament on Tuesday, March 3, and will host a first-round quarterfinal game should they finish in the Top 4 of the league standings.
