PUEBLO, Colo. – The Colorado State University Pueblo men's basketball team will close out its final regular season road trip this week as the ThunderWolves travel to the Denver Metro area for Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference match-ups against MSU Denver and Colorado School of Mines.
CSU Pueblo, who have already clinched a berth in the RMAC Tournament, will open the week on Thursday, Feb. 19, with a 7:30 p.m. contest at MSU Denver (8-16, 6-10 RMAC) inside the Auraria Event Center before wrapping up the road swing on Saturday, Feb. 21, with a 3 p.m. match-up at Colorado School of Mines (14-13, 10-6 RMAC) at Lockridge Arena.
The Pack enters the second to last week of the regular season sporting a 17-7 overall record and is in sole possession of fourth place in the RMAC standings with an 11-5 record and is riding a four-game win streak after earning wins last week at home over UCCS (80-69) and at Colorado Christian (56-54) last Thursday.

ABOUT MSU DENVER
MSU Denver comes into this week's action having lost four of its last five games, with the only win being a 77-69 victory last Saturday at South Dakota Mines. The Roadrunners are sporting an 8-16 overall record and are tied for ninth in the league standings with a 6-10 record.
Since the beginning of the New Year, MSU Denver has a 4-8 record, with the other wins besides South Dakota Mines coming at home against Black Hills State (77-73) and Regis (85-68), and at New Mexico Highlands (95-83).
The Roadrunners are 4-7 at home this season, including being 2-5 at home in RMAC play. MSU Denver has lost two straight at home since its victory over Regis.
MSU Denver, who was tabbed sixth in the Preseason RMAC Coaches' Poll as they earned 137 points, has three players averaging in double figures with junior guard Logan Threatt leading the way as he is averaging 16.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.1 steals per game and is shooting 44 percent from the field, 36 percent from the 3-point line and is third in the RMAC in free throw percentage at 88.7 percent and has scored in double figures in 17 games, including seven games with 20 or more points.
In addition to Threatt, senior guard Quave Propst-Allison is averaging 14.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.4 steals per game and is shooting 45 percent from the field, 43 percent from the 3-point line and 77 percent at the line and has tallied 20 double-digit scoring games, while junior guard Garrett Falls is averaging 12.7 points and 3.6 rebounds per game and is shooting 47 percent from the field, 40 percent from downtown and 79 percent at the line.
As a team, MSU Denver is averaging 77.1 points and allowing 82.3 points per game, shooting 46.1 percent from the field, 36.2 percent from the 3-point line, and 73.2 percent from the free throw line.
The Roadrunners lead the league in blocked shots, averaging 4.5 per game, with graduate student forward Brian Unachukwu averaging an RMAC-leading 2.0 blocks per game. They are fifth in steals at 7.0 per game, and their foes are shooting 45 percent from the field and 37 percent from the 3-point line.
MSU Denver is coached by Dan Ficke, who is in his fourth season with the Roadrunners and has compiled a 58-53 record in Denver and is 119-78 in his seventh season as a collegiate head coach, as he spent three seasons at Belmont Abbey, where one of his assistants was current Pack coach
Zach Ruebesam.
Thursday's game with MSU Denver will mark the 59th all-time meeting between the two schools on the hardwood as the Roadrunners hold a 38-20 all-time edge in the series. The Pack, though, has won two straight games in the series, including picking up a 77-74 win at Massari Arena on Feb. 27, 2025.
ABOUT COLORADO SCHOOL OF MINES
Mines, which hosts UCCS on Thursday before welcoming the Pack on Saturday, comes into this week's action having won three of its last four games, with the lone setback being an 87-69 loss at 20th-ranked Black Hills State last Thursday. Since suffering a 63-54 loss at CSU Pueblo, Mines has posted a 6-3 overall record, with the losses coming at Fort Lewis (78-70), Adams State (96-78), and at Black Hills State. Mines is sporting a 14-13 overall record and are 10-6 in the RMAC with two weeks left in the regular season.
The Orediggers have been strong at home this season as they are 9-1 at home and have won eight straight home games since suffering an 87-79 loss to UT Tyler on Nov. 22. The Orediggers are 7-0 at home in RMAC play and have won 20 straight home games in league play dating to the 2023-24 season.
Mines, who was tabbed second in the Preseason RMAC Coaches' Poll as they earned 167 points and three first place votes, has three players averaging in double figures with junior forward Alex Romack averaging 13.8 points, 9.3 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game and is shooting 53 percent from the field and 47 percent from the 3-point line and has had 22 double-digit scoring games and has recorded 17 double-doubles, including three in his last four games.
In addition to Romack, junior forward Jonathan Moore is averaging 12.6 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game and is shooting 49 percent from the field and has tallied 15 double-digit scoring efforts, while freshman guard Shelton Henton is averaging 10.6 points per game and is shooting 43 percent from the field, 44 percent from downtown and 88 percent from the line and has tallied 14 double-digit scoring games.
As a team, Mines is averaging 78 points and is allowing 75.7 points per game. In addition, Mines is shooting 45 percent from the field and 36 percent from the 3-point line and is fifth in the league in rebounding (37.3 rpg), fourth in offensive rebounding (12.4), and is third in the RMAC in assists (16.6 apg). Defensively, the Orediggers are third in the league in blocked shots (4.2) and second in 3-point field goal defense (31.1 percent), and their foes are shooting 45.2 percent from the field.
Mines is coached by Pryor Orser, who is in his 25th season with the Orediggers and has compiled a 488-245 overall record. Orser is the winningest coach in RMAC history and has led Mines to six regular season RMAC titles, three RMAC Tournament titles, 14 NCAA Tournament appearances, and two Division II Elite Eight appearances.
