COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced its 2025 Preseason Volleyball Coaches Poll and Preseason All-RMAC Team, with Colorado State University Pueblo earning a fifth-place ranking heading into the fall campaign.
The ThunderWolves received 133 points in the poll, as voted on by RMAC head coaches, matching their fifth-place finish from the 2024 season. CSU Pueblo finished last year with a 16-11 overall record and a 9-5 mark in conference play, advancing to the RMAC Tournament.
First-year head coach Jordan Bruere, a former CSU Pueblo standout, takes over the program this fall. Bruere arrives after guiding Western Colorado to a seventh-place finish last season (7-7 RMAC), helping the Mountaineers qualify for the conference tournament. She now returns to Pueblo with hopes of pushing the Pack back into NCAA Tournament contention.
On the individual side, CSU Pueblo placed one student-athlete on the 2025 Preseason All-RMAC Team, as junior transfer standout Chinaru Inoue, a Defensive Specialist from Tenri, Japan, was selected as the lone ThunderWolf honoree and will serve as a key piece defensively at the libero position. Inoue is transitioning to Pueblo with Bruere from Western Colorado.
The ThunderWolves will open the 2025 season on September 5 when they travel to Canyon, Texas, to compete in the West Texas A&M Lady Buff Invitational.
