Pack Athletics to Host Meet and Greet for New Women's Volleyball and Men's Basketball Head Coaches at Brues Alehouse on June 3

PUEBLO, Colo. – Colorado State University Pueblo Athletics will host a meet and greet for new head women's volleyball coach Jordan Bruere and new head men's basketball coach Zach Ruebesam on Tuesday, June 3, from 6-8 p.m. at Brues Alehouse in Pueblo. The event will be open to the public.

Light appetizers and a cash bar will be provided for anyone attending the event at Brues Alehouse.

Bruere was announced as the ThunderWolves' new head volleyball coach on March 7. Bruere, who played volleyball for the Pack from 2012-15, came to CSU Pueblo after spending the past two seasons as the head volleyball coach at Western Colorado University. In her two seasons with the Mountaineers, she took a team that improved from two victories in her first season in 2023 to 12 victories and spot in the RMAC Tournament after finishing 7-7 in league play during the 2024 season. As a setter for the Pack, Bruere appeared in over 80 matches and amassed over 1,000 assists and more than 600 digs in her collegiate playing career and was named to the RMAC Academic Honor Roll in each of her final three years with the program.

Ruebesam was announced as the ThunderWolves' new head men's basketball coach on April 14. Ruebesam came to CSU Pueblo from the University of Colorado, where he spent four seasons serving first as a Director of Player Development for two seasons and then as an assistant coach on Tad Boyle's staff the past two seasons. Along with coaching with the Buffs, he served as the head coach for Team Colorado, the Buffaloes alumni squad in The Basketball Tournament in 2023 and 2024.
