CSU Pueblo Women’s Golf Makes History with RMAC Three-Peat

BOULDER CITY, Nev. - The Colorado State University Pueblo women's golf team cemented their place in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) history on Tuesday afternoon, becoming the first program ever to complete a conference championship three-peat.

CSU Pueblo etches their name in history at the difficult Boulder Creek Golf Club, which is also the site of the 2025 National Championship.

This year's title was especially sweet for the ThunderWolves, who faced a major roster shake-up after losing All-American and 2024 RMAC Player of the Year Kylie Severin to graduation. But head coach Tammy Lim, in just her second season, masterfully rebuilt her lineup and guided CSU Pueblo to its third straight RMAC title—securing another come-from-behind victory by narrowly edging out Colorado Christian and Westminster University by three strokes apiece.

The ThunderWolves carded rounds of 293, 296, and 295 to finish the tournament strong. Trailing Colorado Christian by two strokes entering the final round, the team rallied to clinch the historic win.

Leading the charge was fifth-year senior and first-year ThunderWolf Alyssa McMillen, a transfer from Missouri Western State, who delivered consistent play throughout the week (71-72-75) and secured a fourth-place individual finish—likely earning her a first team all-conference nod. Right behind her was junior Freya Constable, whose stellar even-par final round (72) helped seal the deal. Constable finished eighth overall with rounds of 74, 75, and 72.

Joining them as a first-team all-conference hopeful was Lisa Ekberg, who bounced back from a tough second round to shoot 70-81-73. Meanwhile, Zoey Rodriguez, a clutch performer all season, came through once again with rounds of 78, 73, and 75, placing 14th and delivering key scores from the No. 4 spot. Freshman Yale Lee rounded out the ThunderWolves' scoring lineup, finishing 20th overall with rounds of 78, 76, and 77.

With the win, head coach Tammy Lim remains perfect in her RMAC postseason coaching career—two seasons, two titles—and has officially punched the team's ticket to the NCAA West Super Regional, set for May 5–7 at the La Paloma Course at Tascosa in Amarillo, Texas.

Former ThunderWolf standout Kylie Severin, who led CSU Pueblo to titles in 2023 and 2024, kept a close eye on the action and expressed her pride in the team:

"It's a pleasure to see the girls continue on the dynasty that we've been building here in Pueblo. I'm really excited to see that they'll go back to the postseason once again. I'm just super excited for all the girls that I was able to play with over the years, the ones that are still on the team, and to the new girls that have come in and solidified themselves as Pueblo superstars."

The ThunderWolves now await their official postseason seeding, which will be revealed during the NCAA Selection Show next Monday.

Pack Athletics will release a full quote from head coach Tammy Lim following the championship celebration.
