TUCSON, Ariz. - The Colorado State University Pueblo Women's Golf Team secured a tie for 4th place at the West Texas A&M Desert Invite, held at Ventana Canyon Golf Club in Tucson, Arizona.
The competitive field featured numerous NCAA West Region opponents, with St. Mary's University claiming the team title at 53 over par. The ThunderWolves shot 640 for the week (+64), firing rounds of 316-324.
Ventana Canyon Golf Club was playing extremely difficult this week, with the winds exceding 30 MPH at the difficult Mountain Course. Ventana Canyon played at 5,909 yards this week on the Par 72 track.
Leading the Thunderwolves was Lisa Ekberg, who posted rounds of 79-78 to finish in T-10th place individually.
Zoey Rodriguez followed closely behind with rounds of 80-79 to finish in T-16, while Yale Lee finished 20th overall after carding 78-82.
Alyssa McMillan contributed with rounds of 79-85, and Freya Constable rounded out the lineup with scores of 86-85

The Thunderwolves will now shift their focus to the RJGA Palm Valley Classic in Goodyear, Arizona, heading north on Interstate 10 from Tucson to Phoenix to play on Friday and Saturday.
