PUEBLO, Colo. The Colorado State University Pueblo Baseball squad dropped game two of the series against Lubbock Christian University at Rawlings Field on Saturday afternoon.
LCU took home the victory 13-7 after falling to the ThunderWolves yesterday 4-2. With the win for LCU, the Chaps are now 10-8 to match the ThunderWolves record of 4-2.Â
Evan Roach picked up the win for LCU, taking the loss for the Pack was
Nick Perry.Â
The Chaps took an early lead at 5-0, scoring runs in the first and third innings, including a two run home run from Brock Tijerina.Â
The Pack answered with five runs in the third inning with back to back jacks from
Christian Castaneda and
Elijah Borjas, tying the game at 5-5.Â
LCU answered in the fourth and fifth with three runs to retake the lead at 8-5. LCU was able to get another run across on an RBI single.
CSU Pueblo did not quit as
Brad Stone ripped a solo home run to right in the bottom of hte seventh to make the score 9-6.
LCU scored four more runs in the ninth to extend their lead, eventually taking home the win 13-7.Â
