PUEBLO, Colo. - The Colorado State University Pueblo Baseball squad got back in the win column, picking up a huge game one victory of the University Of Sioux Falls at Rawlings Field on Saturday Afternoon.
With the win, the Pack improve to 7-6 overall. With the loss for the Cougars, they now fall to 3-3 on the season.
Travis Farrell once again pitched a gem for the ThunderWolves, as the ace went six strong innings, allowing just one run to pick up the win and improve to 3-0 on the season.Â
Noah Williams had his breakout game, as the former Atlanta Braves prospect went 3-3 on the afternoon, hitting two home runs in the third inning, and hitting a double later on. Williams drove in three RBI's on the afternoon.

The Pack dominated from start to finish, run ruling Sioux Falls in just seven innings.
The Pack struck first in the bottom of the first with
Elijah Borjas driving in a run on a fielder's choice ground out. The ThunderWolves then exploded for nine runs in the third inning, led by Williams's two homers in the inning. The Pack were able to bat through the order in the third, blowing the game wide open at 10-0,
Sioux Falls was able to get their one and only run in the top of the fourth inning, when Ryan Gouldin singled in a run.
The Pack were able to get four more runs in the bottom of the fifth inning with hits from Castaneda,
Wyatt Reginato, and
Elijah Borjas to put the Pack way out in front at 14-1.Â
Luke Schmedding came in relief for Farrell, closing out the bottom of the seventh to secure the run-rule victory.Â
