PUEBLO, Colo. (December 17, 2025) - Colorado State University Pueblo's
Seneya Martinez (Sr., Windsor, Colo.) and
Jacob Myers (Fr., Castle Rock, Colo.) have been named Pack Student-Athletes of the week, presented by Chick-fil-A.
Martinez led the Pack to two huge road wins this past weekend, defeating Chadron State and South Dakota Mines to boost the ThunderWolves to a 3-1 record in RMAC play.
Martinez averaged 13.5 points over the weekend, including 20 points on 8-14 shooting, defeating SDMT on Saturday.
She currently sits in the top 20 in scoring in the league.
Up next, women's basketball will go on the road for a nonconference game Wednesday at Northern New Mexico College, before returning to RMAC play Jan. 8 at UCCS.
On the men's side, Myers put together an impressive run at the 46th Annual Midwest Classic, finishing fifth at 133 pounds and leading the ThunderWolves with 19.0 team points.
After dropping a narrow decision in the opening round, Myers responded with a dominant performance through the consolation bracket, winning seven matches to reach the fifth-place bout. During his run, Myers showcased his offensive firepower with three technical falls and a pin.
Myers also earned two key decision victories, closing his tournament with a 6-5 decision over Nicholas Cottone (Millersville).
Up next, Pack wrestling will use the holiday break and recover in time for their next outing January 9 at the Western Colorado Open in Gunnison.
