PUEBLO, Colo. - A landmark season for Colorado State University Pueblo Volleyball reached new heights on Wednesday, as three ThunderWolves were named AVCA Honorable Mention All-Americans. RMAC Player of the Year Caelyn Gunn, RMAC Setter of the Year Elena Stankovic, and senior middle blocker Golden Finch each earned national recognition following one of the greatest seasons in program history.
This year's honors mark the first All-American selections for CSU Pueblo since Sadie Scoville in 2023, and represent a historic turning point for the program. Prior to 2025, CSU Pueblo had produced only three All-Americans in program history—making the addition of three more in a single season nothing short of remarkable.
Caelyn Gunn – AVCA Honorable Mention All-American
Gunn delivered a powerhouse season on the outside, finishing as one of the top attackers in the region. She closed the year with 405 kills (3.97 per set), 442 total points, 329 digs, and set a school record with 29 kills against UCCS on Sept. 30. Her production, late-match poise, and ability to take over sets powered CSU Pueblo to 20 victories and its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2022.
Elena Stankovic – AVCA Honorable Mention All-American
Stankovic commanded the ThunderWolves' attack with precision and composure, earning RMAC Setter of the Year honors. The sophomore finished the season with 936 assists (9.75 per set), a .308 hitting percentage, 222 digs, and 58 blocks—one of the top totals among Division II setters. Her decision-making and ability to distribute the ball turned the Pack into one of the most efficient and balanced offenses in the conference.
Golden Finch – AVCA Honorable Mention All-American
In a storybook ending to her CSU Pueblo career, senior middle blocker Golden Finch emerged as one of the most dominant two-way players in the RMAC. Finch recorded 188 kills (1.96 per set), a team-leading .351 hitting percentage, 102 total blocks, and 247 total points. Her presence in the middle, elite blocking ability, and match-changing impact made her an indispensable part of the Pack's historic run and earned her a fitting All-America sendoff in her final season.
A Season That Rewrote the Record Books
Head Coach Jordan Bruere praised the trio's leadership and impact on elevating the program to new heights.
"To see Caelyn, Elena, and Golden all earn All-American honors in the same year is incredibly special," Bruere said. "Golden's leadership as a senior, Caelyn's firepower, and Elena's command of the offense set a new standard for CSU Pueblo Volleyball. This is a historic moment for our program."
This year's All-American recognition adds to a long list of accomplishments that included a 20–9 overall record, the best RMAC start in modern program history (7–0), an undefeated 10–0 home record, the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2022, and two RMAC major award winners.
With three new All-Americans added to the program's history, CSU Pueblo Volleyball enters the offseason with unprecedented momentum and a foundation built for continued national success.
