PUEBLO, Colo. – The fifth-ranked and No. 3-seeded Colorado State University Pueblo football team will host University of Texas-Permian Basin this coming Saturday, Nov. 22 at 1 p.m. MT in the Thunderbowl in the first round of the 2025 NCAA Division II Football Playoffs.
Tickets for Saturday's playoff game with the Falcons are now available for purchase
ONLINE and in person at the CSU Pueblo Athletics ticket office inside Massari Arena beginning Monday morning. Season ticket holders are asked to call (719) 549-2050 to purchase reserved tickets. The CSU Pueblo Athletics ticket office will be open every day this coming week with hours of 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Prices for reserved seat tickets are $33 for chairback seats, while bleacher seats are price at $20 and tickets on ThunderHill are available for $10. CSU Pueblo students are free with a student ID compliments of Pepsi. Tickets for Seniors (Ages 65+) are available for $12, while children's tickets (Ages 7-17) are available for $12.
UT-Permian Basin tickets are reserved in Section W on the visitor's side of the ThunderBowl and those tickets can be purchased either online or by calling the ticket office.
The ThunderWolves (10-1 overall, 9-0 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference) won their second straight Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference title on Saturday with a 30-27 double overtime win over 22nd-ranked Chadron State. The RMAC title was the 10th all-time for the Pack and their first back-to-back league titles since winning four straight league titles from 2011-14.
Meanwhile, UTPB, who is sporting a 9-2 overall record and tied for second in the Lone Star Conference with a 7-2 record, enters the playoffs having won four straight games since suffering a 31-28 loss at Western Oregon on Oct. 18. The Falcons, who closed the regular season with a 74-10 win this past Saturday at home against Sul Ross State, are making their second-ever NCAA Division II playoff appearance as they fell 10-3 in the first round of the 2023 playoffs at home against Bemidji State.
The Pack and UTPB have met just once previously on the football field, as the two teams met in the Pack's 2024 home opener. In that game, the Pack collected a 40-23 win over the Falcons.
CSU Pueblo and UTPB are one of four first round matches in Super Region 4 this coming Saturday as No. 1 seeded and No. 2 ranked Harding (11-0) will host 12th-ranked Northwest Missouri State 9-2), while No. 2 seeded and sixth-ranked Central Washington (10-1) will host 18th-ranked Western Colorado (9-2) and No. 4 seeded and seventh-ranked Pittsburg State (9-2) will host 22nd-ranked Chadron State (8-3).
