ThunderWolves Earn Road Point with 2-2 Draw at Regis

DENVER, Colo. (Oct. 9, 2025) — The No. 11-ranked Colorado State University Pueblo men's soccer team battled to a 2-2 draw on the road Thursday night against Regis University in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) play at the Regis Turf Fields.

The ThunderWolves (4-0-7, 0-0-3 RMAC) struck first in the fifth minute when Matty Parkes (So., Newcastle, England) buried his fourth goal of the season off an assist from So Nagano (So., Kobe, Japan). Regis responded late in the half, equalizing on a penalty kick in the 42nd minute to send the teams into the break tied 1-1.

Regis briefly pulled ahead in the 60th minute, but the Pack showed resilience and found the equalizer in the 74th minute. Jamal Bynum (Fr., Rio Rancho, NM) scored his first goal of his career, finishing a setup from Logan Cozier (R-So., Pickering, Ontario, Canada) to make it 2-2.

The teams traded chances late, but neither side could find a winner. Pack goalkeeper Esteban Gonzalez (Jr., Brussels, Belgium) recorded one save in the draw while facing 11 shots from the Rangers. CSU Pueblo totaled five shots in the contest, including four on target.

With the result, the ThunderWolves remain unbeaten through 11 matches this season.
