PUEBLO, Colo. (October 8, 2025) - Colorado State University Pueblo's Elena Stankovic (Jr., Cajetina, Serbia) and Jackson Smith (Jr., Centennial, Colo.) have been named Pack Student-Athletes of the Week, presented by Chick-fil-A.

Stankovic set a career-high 28 assists last week against UCCS and she helped to lead the ThunderWolves to a 3-2 come-from-behind victory and hand the Mountain Lions their first loss of the season.

In her next outing against Regis, Stankovic had another solid outing and finished with 21 sets in a 3-0 Pack sweep.

Up next, Pack volleyball hosts Colorado School of Mines on Friday starting at 6 PM at Massari Arena.

On the men's side, Smith earned Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week after he set a new career-high and hit a 60-yard field in CSU Pueblo's 59-13 road win last Saturday at New Mexico Highlands.

The field goal bettered the old CSU Pueblo record of 55 yards set in 1975 and was the longest field goal in the state of Colorado since 2011.
