Stankovic Named RMAC Setter of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced Monday afternoon that Colorado State University Pueblo's Elena Stankovic has been named the RMAC Setter of the Week following a standout performance that helped the ThunderWolves to a perfect 2–0 weekend.

Stankovic, a senior from Serbia, directed the CSU Pueblo offense with precision, averaging 9.88 assists per set while leading the Pack to wins over UCCS and Regis. She posted a career-high 58 assists and 15 digs in a thrilling five-set victory over UCCS before adding 21 assists, two blocks, and a service ace in a sweep of Regis.

Behind Stankovic's leadership, the ThunderWolves hit an efficient .257 as a team across the two matches and extended their winning streak to six straight. The honor marks the second consecutive week that CSU Pueblo has earned an RMAC Player of the Week award, after senior outside hitter Caelyn Gunn was named RMAC Offensive Player of the Week just last week.

The ThunderWolves return to RMAC play on Tuesday night at Colorado Christian, in a showdown for first place in the conference standings.
