PUEBLO, Colo. (October 25, 2025) — The Colorado State University Pueblo men's soccer team picked up a critical 3-2 victory Friday night over Colorado Christian at Gonzales Stadium, keeping the ThunderWolves squarely in the postseason conversation as the regular season winds down.
Yahel Paramo Caudillo (Jr., Leon, Mexico) put the Pack ahead early, scoring in the 11th minute after cleaning up a loose ball inside the box. The visitors equalized on a penalty goal in the 60th minute, but the ThunderWolves wasted no time reclaiming control.
Just over three minutes later, Jamal Bynum (Fr., Rio Rancho, NM) finished a well-placed assist from Jose Peris Gimeno (Fr., Burriana, Spain) to restore the lead, and moments after that, Nick Cenek (Gr., Peoria, Ill.) buried a third goal in the 65th minute to make it 3-1.
Colorado Christian pulled one back in the 89th minute, but CSU Pueblo's defense held firm through the final whistle to secure the win.
The ThunderWolves outshot the Cougars 18–10, including an 8–5 edge in shots on target.
In his outing of the season at the net, Gabe Selby (Jr., Woodbury, NJ) tallied three saves in the victory, while the Pack improved to 7-2-7 overall and 3-2-3 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play.
