PUEBLO, Colo. (Oct. 23, 2025) — The CSU Pueblo men's soccer team dropped a hard-fought 3-2 decision to RMAC-leading MSU Denver on Thursday night at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.
The ThunderWolves (6-2-7, 2-2-3 RMAC) battled back twice to level the match, but a late strike by the Roadrunners in the final minute sealed the result.
MSU Denver opened the scoring in the sixth minute before the Pack answered quickly as So Nagano (Sr., Kobe, Japan) flicked in a cross from Yahel Paramo Caudillo (Jr., Leon, Mexico) to tie the match 1-1 in the 15th minute.
After the Roadrunners regained the lead in the 57th minute, CSU Pueblo again found an answer. Off a set piece, Joseph Delaney (Fr., Sutton, England) served a ball to the far post where Jamal Bynum (Fr., Rio Rancho, NM) rose above the defense and powered home a header in the 72nd minute to equalize at 2-2.
The visitors, however, found the winner in the 90th minute to steal all three points.
Goalkeeper Esteban Gonzalez (Jr., Brussels, Belgium) finished with four saves in the match, while Delaney and Paramo each recorded assists.
The ThunderWolves were outshot 8-5 on target but held firm for much of the contest against a nationally-ranked opponent.
