PUEBLO, Colo. (October 16, 2025) — The Colorado State University Pueblo women's soccer team continued its strong form Thursday evening, playing Fort Lewis to a 0-0 draw at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) action.
With the result, the ThunderWolves extended their unbeaten streak to four matches and moved to 3-4-5 overall and 2-1-3 in RMAC play, while the Skyhawks now sit at 6-4-2 (3-2-1 RMAC).
CSU Pueblo's defense once again held firm, led by goalkeeper Alva Hellenius (Fr., Stockholm, Sweden), who turned in an impressive six-save performance en route to her fourth shutout of the season. The Pack limited Fort Lewis to just six shots on goal out of 14 total attempts, keeping the visitors off the board through 90 minutes of play.
Offensively, the ThunderWolves managed three total shots, including one on goal from Cameron Farthing (Sr., Coventry, England) in the 78th minute that tested Fort Lewis keeper Trinity Lujan. CSU Pueblo earned a pair of corner kicks but couldn't break through against a stout Skyhawks back line.
Defensively, the Pack's backfield, anchored by Evie Wysong (Sr., Bel Air, Maryland), Caytlynn Garland (Jr., Gillette, Wyo.) and Mara Ganje (Sr., Inver Grove Heights, Minn.), each helped control the match's tempo and limit high-quality scoring chances for the opposition.
The draw marks another positive result for the ThunderWolves, who continue to build momentum heading into the heart of RMAC competition.
