PUEBLO, Colo.
- The Colorado State University Pueblo volleyball team concluded the Steel City Showcase with a win on Saturday afternoon over Eastern New Mexico University in sweeping fashion at Massari Arena.
With the win, the Pack swept the tournament, going a perfect 4-0 to start their season. CSU Pueblo won the tournament with their perfect record.
Sadie Scoville (Pleasant Grove, Utah/Pleasant Grove) dominated once again, recording 12 kills, three kills, two assists, and led the team in digs with eight.
Rayliene Joens (Elkhorn, Neb./Elkhorn) conclued her first tournament as a member of the Pack with another fine performance. Joens had nine kills and two kills on the afternoon.
Kaitlyn Hall (Colorado Springs, Colo./Falcon) continued to impress as the redshirt freshman recorded eight kills, while
Hallie Hewlett (Bountiful, Utah/Bountiful) also continued to impress as a freshman, recording 18 assists to lead the Pack.
The Pack had to claw their way out of a deficit in the first set, but were able to turn the tide, winning the first 25-20.
Eastern New Mexico once again made the second set interesting as the Greyhounds had a late 17-16 lead, but the Pack finished 10-4 run to win the set.
CSU Pueblo dominated the third set from start to finish (25-15) to close out the game and take the match in three sets.

The Pack will head out West to play in the Route 92 Classic, with an opening match date at San Franciso State on September 12.
