Season Preview: Cross Country Set To Return With High Hopes

PUEBLO, Colo. - The Colorado State University Pueblo men's and women's cross country teams are set to begin their 2024 campaign at the Joe Vigil Open hosted by Adams State University on Sept. 7 at the Cattails Golf Course in Alamosa, Colo.

The Pack are coming off a successful 2023 season, which saw both programs advance to the 2023 Division II National Championship in Joplin, MO.

CSU Pueblo returns two of their All-Americans: Reece Sharman-Newell (Hampshire, England) and Helen Braybrook (Frieston, United Kingdom/Oakham School). Sharman-Newell brought home All-American honors after a 36th place finish, while Braybrook brought home the prestigious honors after a 24th place finish.

The Pack do not host a home event this season, but do race locally in Colorado Springs at the UCCS Rust Buster at North Monument Valley Park.
