PUEBLO, Colo. - The Colorado State University Pueblo Women's Golf Team concluded their fall season with a victory at the CSU Pueblo Fall Invitational at Pueblo Country Club, winning the event by eight strokes over Lubbock Christian University.
With the win, this marks the second victory of the fall season for the ThunderWolves.
The challenging Pueblo Country Club was playing at 5800 yards. The Par 72 track will be the site of the 2026 NCAA West Regional.
Freya Constable (Edinburgh, Scotland) won the event individually, shooting superb rounds of 74-69 (one-under), to win the event over her teammate
Lisa Ekberg (Kungsbacka, Sweden), who finished second with impressive rounds of 73-74.Â
Alyssa McMillen (Garden City, Kan./Missoursi Western State) had another solid performance as the first-year Pack Golfer shot rounds of 76-73 to take home sixth place.
Zoey Rodriguez (Pueblo, Colo./Pueblo South), and
Sinead Ni Cheilleachair (Tullamore, Ireland) rounded out the scoring for the ThunderWolves. Rodriguez shot rounds of 75-84, while Ni Cheilleachair shot rounds of 80-92.
