PUEBLO, Colo. (October 6, 2024) - The Colorado State University Pueblo women's soccer team earned their first Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference win of the season after posting a 1-0 shutout win over Colorado Christian on Sunday at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.
With the win, CSU Pueblo snaps a 6-game losing streak.
Carlia Johnson (R-Jr., The Valley, Anguilla) scored the lone goal of the game and fired a deflected ball off a corner kick into the back of the net during the 6th minute. It is her first goal of the season.

"It has been a tough couple of weeks playing against very strong opposition," said CSU Pueblo Head Coach John Constable. "We knew we needed a result today. Our ladies wanted it and played well against a good CCU team. We are immensely proud of our players."
In the game, CSU Pueblo registered 14 shots led by four shots from Johnson.Â
Seniors
